Privacy Policy

This extension respects your privacy. It is designed to provide additional tools for browsing and comparing information on Discogs, including collections, wantlists, Smart Buy and seller listings.

Information Stored

The extension stores the following information locally in your browser:

• Your Discogs username
• Your personal Discogs API token

This information is stored locally using the Chrome Storage API and remains on your computer. It is never transmitted to the developer.

How Your Data Is Used

Your Discogs API token is used only to communicate directly with the official Discogs API in order to retrieve your collection and wantlist information.

The extension also reads information displayed on Discogs pages in order to provide its collection and wantlist comparison, Smart Buy and Seller Special Filters features.

These features are used to:

• compare your collection and wantlist with another Discogs user's collection or wantlist
• display complete collection and wantlist lists
• find sellers offering releases from your wantlist using Smart Buy
• analyze and sort seller listings using Seller Special Filters

The extension communicates only with:

• https://www.discogs.com
• https://api.discogs.com

Data Collection

The extension does not:

• collect analytics
• track browsing activity outside Discogs
• collect personal information for the developer
• send your stored credentials or API token to the developer
• sell or share user data with third parties

User Control

You can remove all stored information at any time by:

• clearing the extension settings, or
• uninstalling the extension.
